Congratulations! Our newly admitted PhD student, Ruibin Li, is one of the new HKPFS 2022-2023 awardees. Established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong in 2009, the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) aims at attracting the brilliant minds to pursue their PhD studies in Hong Kong’s universities. Only a few students, who could demonstrate outstanding qualities of academic performance, research ability / potential, communication and interpersonal skills, and leadership abilities, are awarded every year. His future research will focus on edge computing, reinforcement learning, federated learning.
